The @skyrailcairns in Cairns gave us a spectacular above-the-tree-tops view of the tropical rain forest there. The skyrail is about 7.5 km long and when it was built, was the longest cableway in the world. We were able to get out and explore the rainforest up close at stops at Red Peak and Barron Falls. We even spotted our ship, the Celebrity Edge! Yesterday we stopped at Whitehaven Beach on Whitsunday Island in Australia. We hiked up a hill to see this view and boy was it worth the effort. ⛲️ Gardens by the Bay is a MUST SEE attraction ⛲️ Gardens by the Bay is a MUST SEE attraction when visiting Singapore. The horticulture-themed destination includes a variety of gardens but might be best known for its "super trees." These carefully engineered trees collect rainwater, generate solar electricity, and showcase 162,000 plants from 200 species that all flourish together in a tropical environment. While we didn't have time to explore all the gardens had to offer, we did love pausing to soak up the beauty of the plants and the 250 acre park.
